Course Description:
This two semester
course is a culmination of the MUHS college prep mathematics
curriculum with an emphasis on preparation for Advanced
Placement (AP) Calculus test. Unit 1 studies concepts in
polynomial and rational functions with an introduction to
limits. Unit 2 explores exponential and logarithmic
functions and mathematical modeling, while Unit 3 studies a
detailed analysis of trigonometric functions, including
graphing, modeling, and polar equations. For underclassmen,
placement in AB or BC Calculus will depend primarily on student
performance in this course.
